Adhesive, also known as self-adhesive label material, is a composite material made of paper, film or special materials as the fabric, with adhesive coated on the back and silicon coated protective paper as the base paper.

Due to various coating technologies, adhesive materials are formed into different grades. The current development direction is from traditional roll coating and scraper coating to high-pressure flow coating, in order to maximize the uniformity and sensitivity of coating, avoid the generation of bubbles and needle holes, and ensure coating quality. Flow coating technology is not yet mature in China, and traditional roll coating is mainly used.
